Photography: Performance Task
In the first photo, I wanted to take a simple photo of myself. I had my hair down because it represents my free personality. My facial expression is happy/smug. I consider myself as a very happy person. The technique I used was studio lighting. I had my lights on so my face would be illuminated more. In the composition I had my photos next to each other. I cropped it so it would give an appearance of a reflection of the future. When I edited the photos, the originals were dark and had a yellow toned background. I wanted to create a feeling of brightness and a futuristic vibe. In the second photo, it represents what I am afraid of in the future. I am afraid that I will lose my individuality when I grow up. I don’t want to have a boring job and become a puppet. In the future, I want to make a difference and have my own voice. My strongest quality is my honesty. As I grow up I will need to be more careful of what I say. When I grow up I don’t want to lose that.
